turn down end cap question

I was looking at the turn down end cap for the e-series and was wondering if it would effect performance if you took out the spark arrestor and still used 12 disks. It has a smalled outlet for exaust, so it would have more back presure than if you were to take the spark arestor out with the standerd end cap right? Thanks in advance, and if anyone has the turn down with disks and no spark arestor, how do you like it? -Nick-

No it won't hender preformance because the exhaust comes out the sides not the end. But if u took ur spark arrestor out some would come out the end. But you won't notice a difference the endcaps are only for looks.

I will be running my e-series with a turn down cap and no disc's

i seen a couple of quads the other day without any disc. What kind of improvement would you see from and change like this.

i would think the only reason for having a turndown, would be for a smidge of sound quieting or tone. the noise bounces off the ground instead of shooting stait in the faces of ppl be hind you.

I was just going to get the turn down end cap and take out the spark arrestor. I like noise, it saves lives:cool: But I wasn't sure how much low end I would lose, and with 22" rears and a 15t front sprocket, I need all the low end I can get.

you mean if you took the dics' out then it would blow straight back.

IMO the cap will be fine

than I think I will order it, take the spark arrestor out, and go make some noise:D
