I think its going to be hard to sell at that price:(

I'm sure its probably worth it but with all the new quads comming out its going to be hard for people that have 400EX's to get the price they would like to get.

Nice quad indeed. But if you look through ebay you'll see alot of quads with 15k sunk into them going for 4k. I'd love to have your quad. But if I had that kind of loot I'd probably go with a YFZ or the new 450R.

I would ask like 6g's or so...

Sadly your quad is only worth about 6k i think you would be better off keeping it if you can.

too much...theres a yzf with leager frame, t pin front end, pep zps all around, full bore, etc for only $8000....and he can't sell it

you can probably only get 6 grand out of it..... it sucks but with all the new quads coming out the value is dropping

hey OutlawEx, dont listen to these guys, a sale happens when a person has a product and another person is willing to give that amount of money for it. who cares what someone says it is worth just by look at a picture of it. how many of you have ever rode one of these, let alone build one. they are so sweeeet. i just finished building my axis/houser yzf426. if you want 8g's for it, hold out and you'll get it. when the new "450r" shows up and is not all it was cut out to be, then they will be wishin they grabbed yours up.

id say 7300 is a good price, its better than any yfz or trx 450, well its faster and its gotta have awesome handling but its used some so id say 7300 is a fair price

Yes but he asked a public forum if he thought he was asking too much. He was looking for opinions and he got them. then you say don't listen to them. I've personally built up many cars in my life. It's just a fact, very rarly do you ever get close to what you've got into them. Yeah you could hold out and wait. But if you wait too long, it might not be worth anything. They way the new rules are in GnC/GnCC it isn't as valueable to racers as a YFZ or the new R (which I'm sure will live up to the hype). It's alot of money just for a play bike. Look at the 250R's, awhile ago they were so much, now the bottom is falling out.

LMFAO u are full of it the YFZ dont compare to this at all. Power wise this quad will out do it ,Handleing the quad would smoke any production bike. There is no production bike that handles like this ... The new YAma wouldnt even compare to this . Ive dragged the Yama and the Gas Gas 450 and this quad seemed to be the favorite that day. I wouldnt compare a 7k quad to a 12k quad anyday.
No flame intendeed;)

if that is so, how come last weekend at rausch the pros from huevos were sayin they like the new yzf over there aftermarket framed crf450s with long travel all around and t pin and ****??>>>> i dunnno but coming from a pro i believe it,, and u were asking for what people thought, and i told u my opinion so...:macho

Well first of all i KNOW the honda will smoke it. A birdie told me;) . The yamaha is prefered over a aftermarket chassy, l/t t-pin front end, cr500 rear setup by Mr.Dunk. And if your an c-a level racer the diff in lap times wont differ much between the yfz and your quad. So i dont understand why anyone would buy your quad over a stock yamaha. and any pro would build their own to comply with their sponsers... I guess if u still think you are right then why would the majority of racers use the yfz nowadays?

Also if u say ur quad is too fast for you dont buy the honda cause word on the street is joe racer wont get much more out of the motor meaning its not downtuned too much...

08-17-2003, 03:33 PM
i dont know why they would like the yfz better i think yamaha is giving some riders good deals on this stuff because i didnt think that quad was all that, im just building a crf, and if u didnt know it pros are bsers and liars
