Next week I will have the money and I'm ordering my FMF pipe and K&N with precharger for my 01 300EX.
I have a few questions:

Do I need to get the jet kit or should I just buy the next size up jet for my carb?

Someone told me to get the next size up jet and put the needle down one - will moving the needle be necessary or will it help?

Do I need to change the plug I am using to a different one due to the mods or will the NGK-R that I replaced my stock one with do OK?

I am going to ocala and croom in the next month and want to make sure I get as much out of my quad as I can (on my budget).

you will need to rejet with a pipe. you will have to move up one or more sizes in main jet and probably change your needle clip position. you really just have to mess around with it until you get it right. no you wont have to change your plug but it probably wouldnt be a bad idea....
