View Full Version : A bit of dealer info on 450ex

Just a bit of info, went up to Scheit's Motors in Fremont, OH the other day for some grips, they have Yammie 450's, but I was asking more about the Honda's, they said September 10th also, and about 2 weeks or so afterwards to see them in showrooms.

Now I really need to get the 400 ready to sell...it's in really good condition, but does anybody know where to get that plastic renew kit and does it work decently? I just want to do some things to spruce it up a bit for the sale.

you make no sense... can you not read his post??? The Honda will be available 2 weeks after its showin @ the Sept 10 show. Whats so hard to figure out about that.... Wouldnt surprise me at all....

You buttholes are so busy pickin on that guy!! Give him a break! Now, about the guys question: Ok, i have a bottle of plastic renew and it works excellent. A lot cheaper than buying new plastic, and it looks just as good when ur done!

Plastic renew is too much work.... just get a bottle of "Future" floor wax, and rub it on! Two coats looks awesome, and it will last 6 months.

To add to this pointless discuss,...... (LOL!)

A close friend of mine owns a Honda dealer in Virginia and is Honda's top dealer in sales on the east coast indicated to me that Honda called an emergency dealers meeting at the end of August to discuss the new 450 in greater detail, include providing specs/price/delivery date. This mandatory dealers meeting would be before the 10th of Septembers public announcement and is meant to provide the dealers background info before the rush of buyers. So, basically we should hear the specs of the new thumper by the end of this month through so-called leaks within the dealers. Stay tuned!!

Cant wait to bore and stroke the new 450!!
