mods for 300ex

i am doing mods to my 300ex engine for mx. i have A high lift cam, titanium valve springs, wiseco high comp piston, barnett kevlar clutch, LRD exhaust, k+n airand oil filter, outer wear airbox lid, and a sparks racing modified black box. is there anything else i could do to my motor to squeeze some more power out of my racer without to much money

a carb or a mod stock carb will help u out alot prices will be from 80$ for the mod to around 450 for a aftermarket carb like a lectron..

You could Port the Head and get a Bigger Carb.

You can get a 350x airboot for more air, porting, bore it out more, stroke it, and a bigger carb.

i would reccomend a stock 400ex carb, the 350x airboot, and port and polishing maybe a bore i would go .60over

port and polish, then mod airbox, u hav nerfs nd kill switch, if ur gunna race, gota ha dat

Lighten the flywheel if your going to race mx it will help a lot on the holeshots.

i would get a 38mm carb ive got one on my 305ex. i got it from duncan racing and it did not cost that much

From my experience with my 300ex, I had alot of motor mods too. Then when I put the Lectron carb on and rode it, ......wwwwwooooooowwwww!!!!:D Noticeable exceleration.
Note: I also have the 350x boot, but that was before the Lectron carb.

kid300ex...I'll pm you a picture come Monday. I'll have to photo scan, or whatever that thing is, when I'm at work, and forward it to you. One of these days I'll get with the times and get a digital camera, or better yet a digital camcorder... so I can have a helmet cam:D
