looks like i'll have around 17 total races this year. 13 locals and 4 gncc's. i'm sure there are guys on here doing more, but for a guy that turns 38 in 2 weeks , married and raising 2 kids. i think that is plenty:D oh ya, i forgot. my son races also and he'll do 13 races this year also. started in may, finish in oct...

Just got the OK for the rest of the season off for our local series.:D Maybe I can get to another national also. It will put me at 14 races for the season. Not bad for the types of shifts I work.

Well there are like 12 missouri harescramble series races this year, 6 hillbillygp harescrambles and like 6 mx races at a local track. Ill maybe do 5 state races, 4 gran prix races and 1 or 2 more mx races

im with tommy i have raced 0 races this year next year i plan on racing some district 5 mx and harescrambles and all of district 7 mx's or harescrambles havent decided which yet. really depends on funds available. i will be concentrating on district 7 since this is my district but i will do some nationals and district 5 in pa. just to get a variety of tracks in.

Haven't been on exriders in a long time... but anyways.... I'm planning on only racing 8 races this season. 7 of them will be the Fox Racing Texas Full Moon series races where I'll be racing 125 Beg. and the other one will be a race at Swan MX for the Lonestar series.

I already have 2 of those 8 races out of the way, and tomorrow I have another race. Then the next two weekends I have a race. I've also raced 2 or 3 races this year when I was still on quads.

I'm not to worried about racing right now... I just want to practice and get fast on this bike.

How many times do you guys go to the track to ride, whether it be practice or a race? I usually go to the track 3 times a week for practice but lately the weather has been cutting that down to 2 times a week. So if I keep it up, in one year I should make well over 100 trips to the track.

i had planned on 8 in the local series so i would qualify for the year end points, but as it looks now i'll be lucky if i make 4 total.

:p actually i'm looking forward to the senior class. by then my son will be old enough to run the mini class that runs right after the afternoon quad race in the gncc's. then it's "so long" to the wnyoa mickey mouse series !!

hey mel, i got a chance to ride a polaris 700 yesterday at rocky gap. what a blast. it was great to be able to fit all the mud holes and not get wet !
instead of wearing a helmet, you need to wear a captians hat, cuz those 800lb monsters handle like a boat !!
all in all we had a great time. bobby bent his axle.:huh and one of the guys that doesn't ride much ended up in the ER w/ migrain headaches and heat exhaustion. :ermm:

MEL

bobby only bent his axle? then it was a good ride for him.haha. sorry to hear somebody got sick from the heat. i was thinking about you guys when i was home working. maybe next time. btw did you see who qualifies to run the vet class now?

mel, easy to pick on someone when you never go. If my bike sat in the garage nothing would get broke.

MEL

can't afford to break anything this year, trying to buy a new house. only joking about the axle. seems to have bad luck with stuff like that. so, how do you like the yfz?

My sons & I will be running about 8 this winter, then depends on how everything holds up, we've already ran about 15-20 on the local tracks:) we are just waiting for the winter indoor series to begin (Nov) now thats not too bad for a 36 yr old stay @ home Mom, yes my poor husband works hard to keep us on the track gotta love him:D

then it's "so long" to the wnyoa mickey mouse series !! sorry about this post i made earlier. though i am looking forward to seeing my son run a national with me, i shouldn't have been as critical on the wnyoa series. it's a great local series that is run by volunteers and they do a great job. but it seems like this year i've had some crazy things happen:confused2

nothing to be sorry about, the rapture will most likely be my last race.
