My friend is looking to be buying a used raptor. I have heard rumors that they have had a history of transmission problems. Is this true ?

The '02's & '03's are stil having problems w/ one-way failures in the starters, from what I've been reading on blue traxx. My friend has an '02 that's setting right now because of this (makes his 4th)and he only get about 4 or 5 rides on each one. :(
