not enough power. plz Help.

:grr: i have a 03 400ex I have the e series wb. slip on. k&n. run an open airbox. removed choke. 160 main jet. just installed a s1 hot cam. and i cant notice a difference..? Did i get ripped on the stage 1 deal or can i change sumtin to notice the cam?

did you do all this at once?

if so how do you know its your cam?

what grind is your cam?

get ya a high compression piston and a few other motor mods and you'll be able to notice

i say you should of noticed a big gain, even with the stock piston. is it a keihin mainjet your using? did you adjust your valves to hotcams specs? how's your jetting?

I did the other mods before the cam. I have the dynojet kit. and i am run a 160 main jet and the needle is in the 3rd slot. i also adjusted the valves to hot cam specs. Do u think its b/c its the stage one. Also do you think the store would let me exchange it after running it once?

uh no, you can't exchange a used product

but if you call hotcams and complain enough about how much it sucks i have heard of them exchanging it for the stage 2
