View Full Version : Edlebrock Quiksilver lot less than new

ive messed with it long enough i want to sell the quiksilver

i got it on ebay from a dealer that said he took it off a trade it that they parted all the good stuff. i paid $220 shipped. since i have put a new throttle cable on it ($20 i think), purchased the adjustment tool($23 i think) and another needle size ($17) and have sent it back to edelbrock for them to look it over. i think im retarted because the throttle still sticks. im being honest here http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=58886&highlight=edelbrock
there might be something not right with it, but im probibly just stupid. chris from edelbrock said they ran it on their 400ex and it ran great.

so i will send the carb, new cable (like 3 rides) old cable too if you want it, adj. tool, extra needle ( 7E in it now, 15E brand new) , stock stiffness spring (had heavier spring installed), and the manual that edelbrock sent me. first $220 takes it, including shipping

i am interested but i would hate to put 220 in a carb if the throttle is gonna stick..

also how much bigger of a carb is it then the stock carb?

thats what im saying, i couldnt get it to stop stickin, but a couple other guys (maxoutput) had the same problem and got it to work fine, and edelbrock said there was nothing wrong with it. i want everyone to realise i had problems with it and im not trying to screw anyone, but it also could just be the way i set it up, or something

someone correct me if im wrong, but i beleive its an oval bore 36mmX40mm compaired to stock 36mm
