interested in 440 big bore kit

I would like to know the pros and cons about a 440 big bore kit. Is it higher maintance, what oct. feul to use. Any info would help me decide if i want do do this.

I have a 440 kit, love the low end power! Fuel all depends on the compression of the piston, stay 11:1 and under then pump gas is all you need. I try to change my oil a little more often but other than that I don't do anything different.
The 440 will run a little warmer, so may be a larger oil tank or oil cooler from 4-stroke tech would be a good investment. Then again I have had mine in for over a year without either of these items and have no problems.
I would recomend a cam at the same time, since you have the engine tore down anyway. I have a White Bros track cam, it sure makes a difference in the mid to top end.
