O.K. it's confirmed....time for a new drive chain...

Now, what do you guys suggest as a replacement...something near top of the line but not rediculous in price.....I remember this "gold" chain from a post..whats up with that?

Yep I also need to be getting new chain and sprockets. I was thinking the DID atv chain, but not sure on sprockets.

Yep the DID X RING atv chain.. as for sprockets there are so many choices.. I guess you have to decide how much you would like to spend and if you want steel or aluminum.. Personally I use the Rocket sprockets in the steel.

Silverfox what are some popular sprockets you see used or sell a lot?

I have sold alot of the Renthal Fronts.
alot of the rocket sprockets front and rear
some sunstar and some JT sprockets.
The majority is steel, a couple of people like the aluminum.
size wise 14 and 16 36 and 38 for the 400 anyway..

I recently bought a DID X-ring chain and a set of steel Rocket sprockets from C&D, I'm pleased as punch with this setup. Great price, too.
