thats a decent price, but they'll be going down. Find out what bore the motor is on, last rebuild top and bottom end, bearings, check the frame very good for cracks, and ride it.

i'd say look around and get one, sheck ebay they are pritty much given away on there latly, they will kill a 400 adn mods are cheap, they are cheap, theres tunds of mods and aftermarket parts for them, theres tunds around, some 400ex parts will interchange even, they are tunds aof fun you will wanna invest in suspension prabily thoe, i kept breaking things...my zps shoulf be here next monday...

some parts are interchangeable-front shocks, most handlebar stuff, and a bunch of small parts and some of the chassis components like alot of guys run 400ex hubs spindles and rotors on their R's, dont forget brake lines but the R brakes are much better-dual pistons

check the frame by the foot pegs by the motor mounts. also look straight in at the frame from the front and back to make sure its not bent. also check the air filter that will usually tell you how well the guy took care of it, also check the rear axle carrier for loose or worn bearrings also check around the steering stem clamp for cracks and make sure the stem isnt bent and make sure the axle isnt bent. also listen and look at the motor carefully. if you do this it could save you a ton of money in the long run
