New Bike

so today i was looking thru the paper for a good bike.. hoping to find a 250x, but i didnt :( ... so my mom tells me her car is gunna be paid off in december & if im good, she will buy me a new quad.. i was in shock.. i mean, i really was! i always had to buy my own bikes & stuff. im pumpt! i was thinkin 400ex or raptor cause i dont race, i like the trails.. i dont want a banshee cause its 2 stroke, i dont want a z400, ( i hear bad things) & i have no need for the new 450's.. so i was thinkin on 400ex er raptor cause i like them the most..? what do u guys think?

my friend has one.. & its junk. the frame cracked in about 8 diffrent spots. ya would never tell its just 1 year old..

The 400 because the raptor is alittle too top heave and easily be flipped in the trails plus it is pretty big:o

ya.. i was showin my dad a raptor & he really likes it.. so im gunna wait & see what the new trx450 is like & if i do like it, i mite get that. but if i dont like it, i'll be gettin a raptor. :blah:

my dad has a z it has not 1 crack in the frame he does fast trial riding and this was after he rolled it and hit a tree with it (2 different occasions)

I would go w/ the 400. Raptors have alot of problems w/ starters clutches and one's way gears in the tranny goin bad. My friend might get 2 months( 4 or 5 rides) out of his before it's shot. That's why it's setting right now. It's an '02. Just my IMO :scary:

congrats dude, I would go for the 400 you should be able to get a great deal on one sometime in the near future :)

raptor is one of the biggest pos going, z frames do crack a lil more but i can crack a 400ex frame in less than a year if wanted, its all how you ride


get a 400ex

Go for the 400EX or the new 450 stay away from those YAMMI's
