chrome a-arms

I am going to get a set of burgard +2 a-arms and I was wandering if the chrome ones would rust or chip? And also what is nickel plate finish? Does anyone have a pic of it? And does it chip or rust? Pics would be appreciated.

The nickel plating would be cheaper and very durable. You could always go with the near chrome powder coating. Sorry, can't help you out with the pics.

nickle will hold up the best.....chrome looks the best.....and powdercoating is the cheapest...lol

Pappy, are you saying nickle will hold up better than powder coating? Or that it will just hold up better than chrome?

nickle is the layer before they add the chrome i believe. it is very strong....looks like chrome just not as much of a mirror finish. nickle will outlast powdercoating.

ive seen chrome a arms all chipped to hell from riding in rocks...same with powdercoating. powdercoating is pretty cheap and can be redone each season for a fresh look.

everybody here likes burgard right? I was wondering what you guys think of them (burgard )?

i havent had any trouble with mine at all. they arent the highest dollar a arms around but get the job done for me:D
