white bros R-4 exhaust

I am running the R-4 on my 2001 400EX with a Dynojet stage 2 set up with a K&N filter with a 160 jet. Anyone else run this pipe? Did you do airbox mods???

I have the pipe and k&n filter. I run a 158 main without the airbox lid on. It is an awesome setup. How do you like yours?

if i was u, get the e series, it has disks and is more tunable, but, i hav the e, and it is sweet

So far I love the pipe. It reacts much better on the whoops. I have just drilled and inserted plug style filters into the lid. It is really breathing well right now. I am debating on new bars and saw you are running pro tapers. Do you recommend them and do you have a part number?

I distroyed my pipe over the weekend, big jump long story. Any way with my sponsorship with White Bros I disided either the e-series or R-4. White Bros recommed the e-series with my mods. I like the looks of the R-4 and have heard good things about it also. I have also heard that WB is going to quit making the R-4 because they are not selling them. Would this be true because the e-series is better? :confused:

i think the e-series is better. it is more tunable, to suit your needs. on the latest pipe shootout on thew rapter in dirt wheels, the e-series gave the rapter 1 more horse than the r-series. the e-series is far more tunable, and more power

I called White Bros yesterday, got ahold of a gal who was quite knowagable. She told me that the e-series was the way to go, and a perfect match with my FMF Power Bomb head pipe. If I put in all 12 disks that would be the same as the R-4 but quieter. I asked about them discontinuing the R-4, she assured me that it is not true. They just come out with that pipe and have no plans to quit making it.
So I am going to order the e-series today, I will see what kind of a discount I get for being a sponsored rider. ;)
