I have a pair of axis and want to lower the front end it looks like they are theres is some kind of c-clip the holds the top of the springs. but it looks like it could be raised the top plate and I would think this would lower the front end. Would is true whats effects would it have on the shock.

If you move the clip down it raises the ride height, also making the shock a bit more springy because there is more bind on the spring. The rebound, compression, and ride height all need to be tune according to one another. I would contact Mr. DeRisi on the best way to set them up.

Well, I bought the shocks used and the last race these shocks were used for was southwick which has deep ruts and very bumpy. I think kid lowered the top seat down. well I 'm done racing southwick for awhile will be racing smoothes tracks for the next month and half. So if I move the top seat back up to the top it sould lower the front and have a softer spring rate? i will have top mess arould with it.
