Ran the TC425 aginst a yfz450

Just got back from practice at Lincoln Trail Motorsports(LTM) ya know where a GNC National is held, anway there was a guy on a yzf450 and i ran aginst him a few laps and i will say i was impressed with what it had. he had a pipe on it and he could pull me on the straights but i always caught him in the corners. I have a TC 425 national kit with everything that can be done to it. if anyone is familar with the track, after the tripple, then turn and hit the uphill woops, he could double them with ease, maybe rear tire clipping them, but i didnt have enough to do it. it seemed that the yfz threw you more in the jumps than what mine did allowing you to jump farther. anyway, i am going with a yzf426 motor this week and hopefully will be able to race aginst him more.

I had almost the same motor as you and now have a piped yfz and man it is fast, i never doubled those whoops during the national but i need to go out there and practice those so im ready for next years national....that track kicked my butt

I didnt know there were this many people from Illinois!! I want to ride with some of you sometime..lol. I have never tried to double them either...i get through them decently fast anyways.

Does it take 3rd to double them? I ran 4 stroke C last year but im going to try to run every national next year and run in 4 stroke B unless they change the production classes which would be cool

Indiana doesnt have much as far as tracks go, but i like the LTM track especially that back sweeper then coming out of the woods 5th pinned..cant wait to go there and practice or something
