How Much????

I would like a few ppls opinion on how much i should ask for my quad. The mods are listed below.
1999 400ex
bored to 426
TC racing National Cam
Port & polished head
Curtis Sparks full race exhaust
Re-jetted stock carb
New valves
Fresh rebuild
RTC race clutch, moose clutch also available
Works triple rate suspension with resi in front
stock rear, recent survice on all
Shock wears
+2 Legacy ATV built Viper a-arms
Lonstar excaliber axel
New brake pads with stainless braided lines
New chain
Custom groved 19" front radials
18" rear turf tamers
Um design airbox with k&N filter
Guseted frame
Miejer plastic
Renthal bars
Legacy graphics
DG bumper, nerfs, and skid
Very fast bike

Start at $4500 i'd say....and get it on the market as soon as you can.

its in great condition and where i race it can beat all but 2 custom$20,000 plus YZ 426 race quads.

$5000 is just too high for a 400ex. With the new quads coming out (or came out) the market is going way down for used quads. Advertise it for a while at whatever price you feel is right, then if you don't have any offers, part it out. Thats the only way.

around here i see some 400exs that have just a few minor mods on them goin for $4750... but quads are expensive in this area.. you could maybe get $5500 here

sounds sweet yeah about 41 - 45 is what i would expect to see if i were you just do us all a favor and dont trade it because i am sure you know and WE all know you wont get jack dandy for your baby.:scary:

man, i wish i lived there to sell quads...stock '02s go for $3200

alright you guys want to talk expensive quads, There was a 01 400ex in the auto trader (well truck rv seld etc etc etc trader) Totally stock i think it was 6,800 cdn. I have no idea what that is american but it's alot :eek2:
