HELP Tag X5s, key doesnt fit with cross bar

bent the factory bars again so I got some Tag X5s. I love the way they feel so far, but with the cross bar the key doesnt fit in my 250x style key holder (its directly under the cross bar). Is putting my ignition in the side plastic my only choice?

If thats what I have to do, how do you go about getting it in there? Can you disconnect the wires somewhere to feed it through from the outside?

just put it on your frame somewhere under your fenders. That way you dont have to drill into your plastic. I put it on the fender support braket... mind you I have a 400ex. I had to do this cause of the hood.

did you just zip tie it or somethin, or does someone make an ignition holder?

yea...i used about 5 zip ties to hold it on there...it does just fine.
