I have a 440 and am not sure of what the ring gap should be.

This is from Ross instructions for the top ring for normally aspirated. It's bore size in inches X .004. The second ring it's
inches in diameter X .005. You allso .002 to your gap if the
ring is narrower than .180. Example (92mm) = 3.625 bore
3.625 X .004= .015 + .002 for a total of .017
