+5 seems kinda wide, IMO I would go +2 or +3. With +2 arms, +3 axle would put you pretty wide.

The aftermarket axles are adjustable some are +2 to +4 and soe are 1 1/2 to 3 1/2.
When I do mx I adjust the axle to the widest setting and trail riding I take to spacers out to make it narrow.

if you have plus 2 a arms you want a +3 or +2 axle ( get an adjustable one so u can do this) if you have plus 3 a arms get a +4 axle. You generally want your rear about 1 - 2 inches narrower for better handling. I am not sure of anyone who makes an axle longer then plus 4 bc +3 a arms put u at 50 inches in the front and a +4 in the rear puts u at 49 in the rear which is 1 inch narrower in the rear and you are still under the limit of 50 inches. NO need to go biger then a +4 axle.

I would get +3 a-arms, and a +4 RPM axle

how easy is it to put on and take off arms? i was thinking of getting the +3s then when i do go to trails, i could adjust the axle, and put on my stock arms? how does that sound?

sounds like a lot of work changing between trails and the track. I got +2's and just change out rims with different offsets. It keeps me narrow enough on the trails, and just under 50 on the track

well i dont trail ride that often, so its not like i would be changing them all the time, about how long does it take to change the arms?

atleast on hour or two...

It isn't hard to change them, but then you have to adjust your toe in, and crap...

i can take them out and grease and put them back in, in under hour and a half, and toe in about 30min so ur right big thumper about 2 hour, not long if u kno what ur doin and do it right. :D
