Really now.... I pulled my buddies 400EX out of the woods more then once....a DS a trailboss plenty more to come im sure. I just wouldnt post something like it unless I wanted to start a flaming war, thats for the 12yr olds to do.
This is just another USELESS bashing thread and if the moderators had any sence it would be pulled but maybe they like this sort of crap.

All quads break down..

But no matter what ya say, see or hear...400ex's win more races per week than any other quad out there I bet...:blah: If ya disagree then you don't race much or get out to races of different types. XC is nothing but a sea of red...:D

I took it more as just a friendly little jab at the yami from a honda guy and got a little laugh (after all this is a honda site).

Go read the thread starter (gabes) response to the trx450r coming out. He even stated that the 400ex is still a strong runner over any quad just about on the market right now..

Yanahar probably new honda was almost ready to release it's new quad of the century and it rushed it's 450's out the door to beat honda to the punch.. :o

I think they did that with the rapturd and boy is it a fine POS...:blah:

Nothing lasts forever and all quads break down your right. CASE CLOSED

I never made a comment of that sort because I know the facts.
I must say though the 400 is the tow rig if theres no polaris around :D

No Ive only been to a National race so far. Im entered in the Harescramble the 24th so that will be my first race, and we'll see who crosses the finish line first Knight :devil:

really guys i'm just messin with ya all. i really don't care what brand it is, if is a strong runner i don't think it should be dissed. i love honda don't get me wrong, but i am in the market for a strong running quad. heck i was even thinking of the kfx :)
i dunno i want a bike where i don't wanna have to do anything to the motor, just suspention. and for my size and weight the kfx has enough power for me, it just needs frame work and a-arms and axle and shocks and i think it would do great.
what do you think?

All quads do break, but yamahas break more often than hondas. I have seen that from what I have owned anyways. I had an 01 raptor. Tranny went out, starter went out, I broke a front shock mount (ripped it from the frame) on a 20ft jump in the sand. A valve became unseated and fell into the piston breaking my whole top end.... Even the little things that held the plastic together broke.

I sold it for a 400ex. I have ridden the 400ex way harder. No problems at all. zero....

I will never buy a yami again. And to everyone that trusts the first year yzf, you have large balls or a large wallet.

I also have a friend with an 03 banshee. It blew up after 2 trips. Completely stock too. Your taking a big risk with yamy. Too many lemons and problems.

First of all. Hondas are the dominant force at most race tracks, and I don't even own one. Second, YAMAHA DOES NOT MAKE AS GOOD OF A PRODUCT!!!! I bought a 2001 Raptor because of all the hype, and it was one of the most dissapointing purchases of my life. Axle was bad, tranny was bad, clutch was bad, suspension blew, and on and on. I just think Honda makes a better product, and I don't own either, so that is a true un-biased opinion.
