Do you think pro quads will ever be able to make a living off of racing? I have heard alot of rumors about this happening in a few years. Just wondering what everyones input was? Especially you big time racers on the site.

yeah quad racing is growing so i think its very possible for pros to start making a living on racing

i imagine they will be able to eventually...cuz look at like baseball players or watever...imagine if pro racers got paid that much a yr:eek2:

no..not for another 10-15 years i think...it all depends on how well these crf/yzf's sell by honda & yamaha

i thought thats what they did do for a living........ where do people like tim farr and dana chreech actually work..?

some own riding schools, some make parts, and some ride for a living. i know gust made in the 6 figures last year

why do you all think spader gave it up? cause he wasnt making money, now hes riding a yz250 at a local track

Jerimiah Jones....Mechanical Stuff

Joe Byrd....Owns Joe Byrd Riding School

Thats All I know of....



I think they will be able to make a living in about 5 years. With all these new quads and suzuki is starting to give factory support i think. We'll see what happens..

I think that it will happen very soon when riders can start JUST riding for a living, But hey most of these guys have my dream job working and racing in the industry :D
