rear breaks making noise

my rear brakes rub and when i use them make a loud screaching noise. how do i adjust the pads and what is causing this noise ???

Sounds like you need some new pads.

the quad is only 4 months old and i rarely use the back brakes

You need to check the pads there may be some trash in there somewhere.

are they easy to remove. ive never really played around with breaks

2 bolts and the caliper comes right off.

metal to metal grinding sound? you need new pads...when mud gets i nthe pads it kills them even if you arent using the back brake so much
