If loosing a finger or eye is no big deal then you'll figure out something...:eek2:

Really though it's tough without the proper toos. I"ve tried running over them with a truck, using 2x4's, etc, etc, etc,.. Not worth getting hurt over..:ermm:

Consider yourself lucky if you do it without any of the above; it's tough as hell. I used to just take my tires to a place in town where it's anywhere from $0-$5 to have them break the bead, depending on the day :) Nice guys down there. You can try many different ways, but I think you might just end up at a tire shop in the end. :D Good luck.

good old dresser:) we've tried b4 too and its just a lost cause... take it to a shop. otherwise what my friends dad does is takes this jack thing and sticks the thin part of the metal that the jack sits on and jams it up against the rim then pulls down on the "handle" part. kind of hard to explain. thats the best way ive seen it done just by doing it at home w/o a bead breaker, and its still tough to do.

My brother uses the jack from his pickup to 'squish' the tire down to break the bead. He sets the wheel and tire under his front bumber and cranks the front bumpber up...

its pretty much a lost cause unless you want to bend your rim. take it to you shop and just have them break the bead then bust out the tire irons.

i heard dooing that may bend your rim....but if you have been using it for awhile now it may work...my friend wanted to run mine over with a truck but his dad (who knows a good deal about quads) told me not too cause it would bend the rim...:confused2

i have a hydrolic jack it tall and you put the bottom on the tire and the hook on the truck. the lift up the truck. and it pops off really easy and its safe. you stand on the tire when you do it to help it off. it was 5$
