I can't get the master link on :( how did yuou guys do it i can't get it pushed down all the way, so i can fit the clip on

Master links are junk anyway....Get a chain break and throw the master in the garbage...

the o-rings go on the master link also
i just put on eon my FZr 600
I squeezed it with channel locks then I slid the clip on. took about 2 minutes.
My Sidewinder chain took me like 15.

it was kind of a pain on mine too... just have to push really hard.

Get it to where the masterlink is at a good spot on the rear sprocket. Take a small c clamp and a socket that just fits over the pins and compress it 1 pin at a time and it is easy.
Yep, if you read the piece of paper that comes with the chain, it says it should be either pressed on, or put on with the C-Clamp and a small nut.

I always used a c-clamp or vise grips to compress the link together.

i bought a new 520 master link at tractor supply, its a tad bigger and it fit like a glove.
