benifits of a no link swing arm?

what are the benifits of a a no link swing arm. and does it give you more travel then the linkage type swing arm. thanks.

Link is smoother but no link gives better traction

i wouldnt buy no link unless you were s erious racer and rode hard all the time because the harder you ride the better it works
