View Full Version : will 400ex front shocks fit on 300ex

While riding my 300ex this past weekend I managed to break the lower mount off my front shock. Does anyone know if 400EX shocks will fit. I found a cheap set on another forum but don't want to buy them and find out they don't fit.

do a search theres been millions of post on the same topic,but if i was you i'd just get works,they are the perfect fit and work great i haven't had a prob yet with mine

Why do you say they won't fit?? I've been told by more than one person they would!!!!! Maybe you just have to modify the mounts, oh well good luck!!

The only way I know to make them fit is using 400ex/250r a arms and an upper shock mount bracket but the shocks themselves will not bolt directly on.

you can buy the kit off ebay...its pretty cheap

they probably would but u would have to buy the lowering bracket and it would still sit high..just go ahead and buy 400ex aarms,tie rods, and shocks. i got my 250r's for cheap
