The best place to run a chat room is on irc (Internet Relay Chat). This is the standard protocol for the chat (ircnet was the first network, started like 12years ago). We need a client like mIRC. But we can also use a java client on a website so no manual download is required. We can easily starts a #exriders channel on UNDERNET or any other network like EFNET, DALNET etc. (We can even starts our own server but that require alot more time/experience to operate it).
I just started one right now on UNDERNET.
For those who already know IRC, go to #exriders on UNDERNET.
If you dont know anything about that, go to www.mirc.com, download mIRC software and follow instructions. Use irc.undernet.org as the server and #exriders as the channel
