One thing about those arms is they aren't made from chromoly, BUT they do offer an unconditional lifetime warranty against breakage. Tough choice. If I was pressed for money, and needed some a-arms, I gotta say I would consider it. If they do break, they will replace them no questions asked. But it is also a safety issue. I guess no matter how good their warranty is, it won't help fix you up in a crash caused by the arms.

Although, the name brand arms are not that much more, and the piece of mind might be worth the extra dough.

don't support a company thats in (or was at least) the buisness of ripping people off.

JD recommends you replace your bushing at least once a year,,,and also to pull your arms off regularly to clean the bushings..zerks are da chit though.

Check into JB Racing arms, good quality & good price and are "semi-sealed" so you don't have to grease them very often.

American Star does have something going for them. It's a good profit margin. But to date I have not figured out how that helps the rider!

If it's quality you seek, JRD's will not Dissapoint. I showed mine to some friends who build very expensive late model and sprint chassis. They flat out said..."this is good work". And would have busted me flat if my purchase was junk!

Burgard, Houser, Arens, RPM, JRD, All good quality products that are priced within reason. :)

Sorry guys - I gotta throw Ricky Stator A-arms into the mix - I love mine - no problems so far (other than the powdercoat chipping off) - they have been through a lot!!! You can grease them, too - they have the zerk holes w/plugs and one zerk that you use to grease them up - nothing to break off that way. I like it. Tie rods are also very strong.....:D
