Does anyone know what the honda 450 dirtbike engine puts out for hp.. of course the quad should be detuned to a 440 which will prolly loose 2-5 hp..

we saw with the yamaha that the bike ran 45 or so ,while the quad puts out a solid 40-42hp.

and also does anyone know what the cannondales put out..??

Knowing Honda the handling will probably be better than the yami.. but what will the power diff be you think???

well there both Motors are from motocross bikes, so check out the information on that. ive read piped crf 450's put out around 50 rwhp. You gotta think about it. the Yamaha 450 motor and Honda 450 motor are like the same design and for the same racing class. there going to prolly be right on PAR just like the Motocross bikes are. its like asking if a Cr 250 motor or a yz 250 motor will do better in a 250r frame. No need to worry, hondas going to come out with a quad just as good or better. GARUNTEED!

A Dale on Ohtons Dyno from AZ at FSW's put out 43.9 w/ a pipe and moto mapping w/ Hoosier tires while a brand new Raptor put out 32hp or 37, can't remember, w/ not one single mod of ANY kind except the Hoosier tires...... All dynos are different so the machines need to be ran on the same day and same dyno w/ no biased influence. South Bays dyno says a stock Dale is 32 hp and the South Bay 450 kit gets it to 48hp so on Ohtons dyno that would be well over 50. Gt's dyno numbers for the YFZ are 48-49 and that's w/ Hoosier tires and the cam mod and other mods...So who's dyno is comparing apples to apples w/ the most accurate hp reading. I have no clue who to believe......
