hey me and my dad are thinking about buying this 1991 Twin Turbo Nissan 300zx it has had alot of work done to it, it has the dynos of 450hp to the wheels and the e.t. of it running 11.822 they guy just had the motor redone for 2 grand, it has 4 kicker 12s in it(i will prolly take them out and put in the rsx) and we are planning making it a good drag car, ne way the guy wants 10,000 think thats a good deal?

Doesnt make sense. To have that motor redone, including turbos, which SHOULD be done if the motor needed rebuilt would cost WELL OVER 2,000. The rebuild on the twin turbos alone would approach $2,000.

third that

IF you want to make a drag car I don't think that i needs 4 subs,
Like yeah wow high 11's thats not that impresive for a car with 450+ horsepower. A 1st gen eclipse or talon can be in the 11's with less than 5 grand put into it.

Like vwvr6 said 2k to redo the engine? Sounds a bit dodgy to me.

If it was me buying a car i would rather buy a stocker and do all or most of the work myself why? So i know that I can use parts that are put in right and I have to knowledge of how the replace such and such as part before it breaks

y is everyone always ripping on people who get stuff from there parents. i mean if his parents work hard enough to provide a life for there family where they are able to do that then good for them. thats a goal most parents have. give there kids a better life then they had. so he's lucky that his parents worked hard so they can help him with some things. just because your parents didnt doesnt mean you have to ripp on him. and even if your parents do work hard enough but dont do that then tough luck but stop being so jelous or whatever it is you guys feel.

i mean dang im jelous but not in a "f*ck him for gettin this stuff" way.

thats good to hear, becasue I think people arent prepared for lifes challenges if mommy and daddy by you everything, they will struggle a lot, and be very dependent on others

that is why I am "bashing" when I wasnt on him, I just dont think it is right, but cudaman I know where your coming from and you have a good arguement, but paying things for yourself is putting the best foot forward in the right direction
