Is $3000 a good deal on a 2002 400EX?

I'm not sure which forum to post this in. I'm new here. This will be my first 4 wheeler, I've been practicing on old 3 wheelers to make sure I liked the sport, first a 110 and then a 200x, I tore them both down and rebuilt them. Anyway, a 16 year old kid is selling his mint EX and is asking $3200, the only thing wrong is he removed the skid plate and hit a rock bending the rotor. Other than that, there isn't even a scratch in the plastic. He's never changed the oil though :rolleyes: But I think it's what I've been looking for. I checked out a few others and none compare to this deal. Just looking for some opinions. Thanks.

definately go for it. i bought my 2002 with only 20 hrs. on it for $3100. you cant go wrong

thats a great deal...i sold my 02 for 3700. i would just make sure he didnt neglect anything. i am often scepticle (sp) of younger sellers. the not changing the oil thing might mean he neglected other things. good luck
