Turf Tamers or Holeshot MXR's?????

yeha i just need to know which would be best? i have regular MX's but i dont know if i should get the MXR's or the Turf Tamers and possilbly groove them?

DO NOT get the MXRs. they wear way to fast. u may get 3 motos on them. 4 if your lucky. i would go with Turf Tamers and get Nac's groove or go with the Kenda Klaw MXRs. very good mx tire imo. i have rode on them before and they rule. so i say go turfs or klaws

are the klaws as good as the turfs on hard pack. i cant decide between klaws and turfs. i ride hard pack 98 percent of the time.

i just bought some klaws they handle unbelievable on 9 inch rims i like them alot

I don't have any expierence with the klaws. But i think my tamers hooked better then my mxr's. Not to mention they wear a lot better too.

look at my site for a pic...klaws dont come in 9.5...thats too narrow anyways.

if you ride regularly, no tire will last 2 years, and maybe he wants a good MX tire, MX'Rs are a good MX tire

yea for what 2 motos. hell a set of klaws will last a whole season with practice sessions in between races

my holeshot mx's had less than 60% tread after 2 weeks.....thats just sad.

im deciding what tires to get for my blaster.... ive heard so much good stuff about klaws. i was going to get another pair of holeshots, mine are not going to last much longer. it seems like holeshots have alot more tread than klaws:confused: i go on roads sometimes so will the klaws wear alot there? and how do they hook up compared to holeshots?

We run tamers on my 300ex & my sons blaster on the rears & they hold up good. We just put them on the blaster a few weeks ago & then went to the atv jamboree which is alot of road & logging road riding & they hardly wore a bit. I just ordered some klaw mx fronts from C&D this morning so I hope I'll like them, I'm putting them on the 300 we went w/ holeshot mx for the blaster front.

seems to have around the same tread as me.

of course road riding will wear the tire, but you wont notice much at all with the klaws...now the holeshots....u will.

imo their the best tire out there right now.

Im looking for tires on my 300.... I want 21 fronts and 20 rear. I want to race MX, but still have good ground clearence for trails, and still have all right top end. I was thinking Klaw's but they might be too heavy with them being 6ply, im leaning to either Fast Trekkers, or Maxxis Razr's. What do ya'll think?

i have a set of holeshot mx's up front...worst money ever spent on my ex....they hoked up great when i first got them..i was very suprised....then about a month later they started to get bald...now they both have air leaks...and the tread is about 1/8 left...and not even a full year of riding

I got my clutch to disengage all the way and my mxr's hook up real good now. But they will probly be the last holeshots i buy. I'm gonna try razrmx or some klaws.

hey kfulk what kind of dirt do you ride on. i have the razr mx's and ride on hard pack and they suck. they just spin and spin. so if your ridding hard pack dont get the razr mx's.

They keep the tracks i go to pretty wet. Only time i'm really on hard pack is at my buddies track
