Cool, I really like the clear cases, almost got one myself. We built a case-less pc last year, just mounted the mboard, etc on a piece of cedar..... u can just hang it on the wall. :confused2

Never got into the neon stiks much, but we did some case carving.... scrapped more than we completed.

Oh well, congrats, beefy system! How do u like the gcard?

Looks good! Some people mod thier computers like we mod our quads, they even have competitions. I've seen some pics of some wild chit.
This one had a bondo'ed in to the front of the tower. Looked like it was coming out the front from the inside.:huh I was also painted chrome and LED lights in the eye sockets:eek2:

Did you build it or buy it? I'm not a big fan of acrylic but it looks pretty good anyway. What is the case temp in the acrylic? I have heard that acrylic holds the heat more than aluminum but have never tested it.

How do you like the MSI board? Did you benchmark it yet?

I want to build another PC soon and retire my current one to my new game server.

My son and my GF's son are both wanting to build their own PC's now and they are starting to buy the parts. If they build new pc's then I'll have to because I just can't let theirs be better than mine. :D

Nice system. I'm not a huge fan of the clear case/neon stuff, but I bet it flies. I think its gettin close to the point in time that I need to build a new box, even though this one is only like 2 years old.

Thanks guys,

My friend works for MSI thats why I got the motherboard and some other stuff at a very good price, so I had to get the best stuff available. :) He told me to get the best motherboard so that when a faster cpu comes out I could just upgrade it. My other friend built it for me so all I had to do was tell him what I wanted and he would put it in for me. I decided to go for the P4 since it runs cooler and im also a pentium guy ;) He himself has AMD but he doesnt recommend it especially for a case like mine, it will run hotter than a P4. As for over heating I dont think I have a problem because the stock cpu fans were all changed to larger and better ones. He did run tests on the cpu and everything runs fast and cool  I believe its running under 35 degrees. Im not a comp geek so im not aware of how he does the test but he did tell me my chip is running close to 3.2ghz , dont as me how its just what he told me
;)
