Ok, on a 400ex, i lost the cap that covers the fuses by the battery, i checked the microfobes ( right? ) for it at ronnies i can see it on the page, i just doesnt have a part number:( does anyone know what its called or what the part number is so i can order a new one

you can find the name a www.servicehonda.com then you could even order it from them

In the manual it is called a "fuse holder".
In the microfiche it looks like you might need to get the "Cable, Starter Battery" (32401-HN1-010) #5 on the list. $15.19 at sevice Honda. I'm not sure if that is right or not but looking at the picture #5 encludes the fuse assembly. Give them a call and see what they say.

im looking for the cap that protects the fuses from getting wet.....

Yes, I know what you are looking for. It looks to me like you need to get the whole assembly to get the cap. Look at #5 in the pic, it has a box that surrounds the assembly. I say call Service Honda or any other dealer to find out for sure that is what it is.

I doubt you can but just the cap unless you go to a local shop and they happen to have one laying around.

Or just put a piece of duct tape over it in the mean time.
