hmf....great fit and function
lrd.....works great...but i dont know if they have fixed some clearence issues
big gun...decent pipe...but the finish IMO isnt the best...they tend to get ugly fast
now on to sparks....
i was drooling over the sparks pipe on the project 400ex. it was one of the best looking pipes ive seen. sounds great too. i think i may atleast have to try a sparks myself:p

My HMF is sweet, sounds good, gives good power, mostly bottom to midrange. It's not to fun to jet, but once you got it right its a awesome pipe. Big Guns personaly I HATE big guns, and I hear they fall apart real easy. Um My friend has a sparks on his 300EX it gave him good power, but yes in sertin places it did rust. I don't know about LRD, they look good but thats all I know about them.
Also the HMF, can be powdercoated almost any color you want, the guys that work there seam to actually care if your going to be a customer with them or not unlike some other places, they offer a quiet core, and a spark arestor you can buy if sound is a issue, they also have a 10 year waranty on the packing inside the pipe. And to top it all off the quality and over all look is GREAT.
Ps. if you go with the HMF, try a 165 main jet to start out with, NOT the 175 they reccomend, thats WAY to much lol.

Thanks Pappy, suck my pipe...Great info! Kinda weird that my 2 favorites were Sparks and HMF. So now I need to decide between those too!!! So out of the HMF and Sparks which is better sounding and better peformance? Thanks!!!
I have the hmf and it rocks. Ive heard the sparks on a yfz 450 and we were just messin around revvin it up and they sound really simmilar. Hmf might be just a bit deeper. Im not too sure. But when did sparks make a slip on?

I did have a T-4 slip-on but then bought a LRD full system. I know you want a "slip-on" but I would save and get the full. It is like a night and day difference between a slip-on and a full exhaust. I just got to test my new LRD exhaust today and I love it!!! It was like riding a different bike because it pulled so much harder through the gears. The local shop around here tell me that all a slip-on does is make noise and maybe add a horse or two. I believe it too because my bike pulled so much harder with the full system. But, if I had to choose from the slip-on's go with the LRD!!!!!!!!

If you get the ceramic they do a crappy job coating it and certain places will rust. Your better off getting it and getting it coated again by a company or getting the SS.
