View Full Version : How do i get my axle out of my axle carrier

I need to know which way to turn the axle nuts on my 400ex so i CAN slide the axle out of the carrier. If anyone knows how tell me ???? THANX:D

the threads on the nut are backwards...

If your standing behind the quad looking at it. the nuts go down.

wouldnt you turn them to the right since they are reverse thread?? to move the nut back off the clip??

yea that would back it off but u want to move them towards the rotor then remove the c clip then move them off. I just did my whole rear end a couple of days ago :D

u must turn the outer nut innwards then remove a clip tehn spin them back off and the axle slides right out
