Well my 300 has been garaged all summer becuase my countershaft splines are worn down. What would you guys do, try trading it off or getting it fixed for at the minimum 500 dollars.
Your opinions would be appreciated.

If there is something major wrong with the quad (like it won't move because the countershaft is worn) then you are not going to get much by selling it or trading it in.

Just my opinion, but if a quad needs a $500 repair, I'm not going to pay more than $500 for it. However, if it ran perfectly, then I would pay $1300-$2000.

Basically, the bottom line is, get the repair, even if you plan to sell it. A $500 repair adds $1000 to the selling price. The math is pretty simple.
