I turn 16 october 7, so I'm hoping to buy a truck by then with my own money and my parents help. Im looking for a truck in the $6000 range. It'll need to be atleast a v-6 cuz im gonna eventually haul our trailer with 2 quads on it. I really like the tacoma, but I havent found many around here. 4 wheel drive is a plus also. Im kinda leaning towards an F-150 :ermm:

I've always been a big fan of the Dak, you can find one with the 318 v8 and it'll haul serious arse (The RT comes with a 360!)! But any of the trucks you listed would be a nice ride IMO
Dont kid urself. Get an F-150:macho

well my dad bought a new S10 blazer in 1987, & all he did was change the oil, plugs & tires. he had it till 2000.. then he sold it & i still see it around. so i'd go fer the S10

get an F-150, my dad has one and its a great truck. The Tacoma has the highest rollover rate of any vehicle on the market

Ford tough:D , F-150 or for traveling the ranger. Chevys are just a problem waiting to happen. No foriegn trucks, only foriegn cars and bikes;)

all i can tell you is don't buy a v-6 dakota, they more gas then my dad's v-8 tundra. i know this because i own a v-6 dakota.
go with the f-150 there are lots of parts out there for when it breakes down, s-10's are to small. but if you can find a 318 or a 360 dakota, go for it, just not the v-6 with the price of gas these days

Can't beat a Yota' IMO! I love mine! :D but you'd have to go w/ a '95 and down to get the V-6 or go w/ extended cab if you want newer. You'll be lucky to find one for 6g's.
