A-arms And Shocks! Help

On my 300EX i want to put on wider a-arms and bigger shocks. i was thinkin of works triple rates up front. and for a-arms i am lost.

i was thinkin of buyin factory 400EX a-arms and put them on and buying the works triple rates that fit on them.

what would the factory a-arms run$$
could this work, would this be worth it or should i get aftermaket racing ones, i was thinking i could save some money.

if not what aftermarket should i get that are good

i did the 400ex front suspension upgrade to my 300ex and its awsome. i didnt even bother to put new shock mounts on i just bolted them right up.

You can buy the stock 400ex a-arms at honda of Troy. Prices are...upper a-arm $64.95/Lower a-arm $42.65. You can use the stock 300ex shocks or order Works Tripple rate shocks which run $379.95. You can not use the 400ex stock shocks won't work done tried it. I have the 400ex a-arms and works shocks on my 300ex and I love it.

how much wider will the a-arms be, and stupid question what does +1, +2, +4 mean, how many inches bigger it is

+1, +2 etc..is the width gain you have over stock,,I think 400ex arms will make your 300ex front end a total of 2 inches wider than stock,,Oh and they don't make triplerate work shocks for a 300ex but they do make dual rate which will work great also..

+1 = 1 inch

+2 = 2 inches

+4 = 4 inches,,,,,,,,,,,,,this is comparing it to stock width whether its A-arms or axle measurements.

i have the frigin 400ex shocks on my 300ex now they work fine!!!

yea but if i put on the 400ex a-arms, can't i just buy the works that would fit the stock 400ex, wouldn't they be bigger then the ones for the 300ex

um let me tink here considering this. wel my bike is set at pure bottom end right now so i can kick the leavin crap out of any bike on a bottom end track and trails. but when i hit a straight holy crap do they blow the F*ck out of me. but when i put it on topend i beat them in drags and so on. bottom end is so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
