Along with replacing the valve seals, I would definitely go ahead and replace the timing chain with the heavy duty one from the CRF450. You can get both of these from Service Honda.

I did all my motor work myself, so I cannot help you with finding a qualified shop that will do the work for a reasonable price :ermm:

I am sure there are places out there

I'd go with an aftermarket set...like Viton,,they'll withstand heat much better than stockers...:) Timing chain wouldn't be bad either.. Might as well get a new clutch setup too from sparks racing or FDO and install it too while ya got the clutch out to put in the timing chain...

I'd go to Rob's Racing in Merrimack too. He's built over 100 ex race motors, tons of 250R's. Has a nice machine shop and very good prices. he's building me a nice motor for GNCC. He's races and he's really laid back too. Nice guy.

Robb's is the place to go. He built my 440 motor, even after the machine shop effed it up when installing the sleeve (ground too much off). He made me a custom spacer and everything. I would definitely recommend him.
