I am getting Houser A-arms, Elka Triple Rate SSD comp adj, Lonestar axle, Rad lock nut, and Lonestar bearing carrier all for 1850. everything but the locknut im getting from quad shop. Is there a discount for exriders? How long will it take to get my shocks and stuff? Do I need a bearing carrier or should i but something else with the money? I would like to but it now so i wont have to later on when i dont have the money. Thanks

Yeah use the stock carrier till it goes out then get something else with the money. I had mine go out and it really sucked my chain keep poping off in a race. It you mod your engine up pretty good then it would be a wise investment to go ahead a replace.

Nacs this is like the 5th or 6th post I have seen from you sayin that your are gettin shocks and a-arms, and they are always different. When are you goin to make up your mind? I just bought some TCS SCS shocks and goin to order my a-arms later this week. I talked to Terry at Marcums and he is hookin me up with a very good deal. I guess Houser is makin +2+1 arms now. Terry will sell them to us exriders for $475. Check him out befroe quad shop.

The shocks won't take long at all to get. When called the elka company, on Dec. 13 i think and told them i needed them for Christmas, they told me they could get them here in four days. But me, being stupid, didnt' order them from elka. I got them cheaper at hsd but had to wait about 2 weeks longer

$475 for Houser A-Arms? Man that`s cheap. I would check that out Nacs. I`m not sure about the Shocks though. After asking Gabe tons of questions, I would get the PEP ZPS Shocks. Unless the wait bothers you, I think they would be better. I wouldn`t get a Carrier until the Stock one goes out. Build up your Motor. Get a TC 416 Piston and Cam.

I have 2300 bucks heres what im thinkin. I think this is finall so far. Houser arms 500, elka shocks 750, Lonestar axle 330, RAd lock nut 50, hinson basket 190, new front wheels and tires 300, and tc pipe 350. I think that all and the summer jop is swing arm shock conversion and motor mods.

You don't have to replace your stock carrier, BUT, i would replace the bearing in it, chances are, you've got a lot of hours on it and they are proly gettin' pretty worn. When my quad was only 5months old, the bearing siezed up, and it chewed my whole carrieer up....ended up being like $400 in parts...sucked.

I too would get PEP ZPS, and the wait isn't that long, 4-6weeks isn't bad....and if you order the shocks now, and then wait until your ready to order everything else, your shocks would get there the same time as your other stuff, maybe.

But i hear where you are coming from, that is A LOT of money to spend and you don't want to throw it away on crap. Take your time dude, make the right choice. Don't just buy something just because you want to buy something, make sure it's what you want.

Thanks for understanding!!! Ya i probly wont get them for a while so let me know how you like yours. I probly will get the pep shocks. Ill figure it out when the time comes and i will know what i want.

If you really want PEP, then get them. Don`t get Elka if you really want PEP. You need to save and get what you want the first time. I really want the Billet Beadlocks, but don`t have any money right now. I`m not going to cheap out and get 190 Rims if I really don`t want them. Just make sure you get what you really want.

I should be getting mine in the next couple of weeks, i'll let ya know how i like them....and i'm ripping my motor down tommorrow, and sending it out to Fischer Cycle for a 416.

I hope i have it all back together by April 6 (Race @ Pontiac Silver Dome)

416 with a super high compression piston, like 13. An extremely wild cam, port job, moding my stock carb(for now) ect......The works. I'm hopeing for HUGE power!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sending it out wed. I just tore it down tonight.
