a 2001 raptor rear shoxk will work on a 300ex.

nope. that's why i said 2001. something to do with the resivoir

The '01's have the remote rezzie and the '02's have the piggy-back(won't clear). I have the '01 on mine and it made a huge diff! It's deffinitely recommended by me as a worthy upgrade! :D
