i cant stand a twist, i cant ever get comfy with one. thumb just seems easier.

i started riding quads though, Jeff started on bike so thats what he prefers. no difference in the two besides personal preference.

hey jeffro.....what are they available in...like 1/4 twist...1/2 twist etc.

i was discussing this with harlen...and i too cant seem to ride correctly with a twist...but i was wondering if the 1/4 or 1/2 twist makes a difference:confused:

My Motion Pro book doesn't show what trun they are but I would think that for someone switching to a twist, they would be better off with a 1/2 turn because when you hit bumps your not going to get out of control as easy. I have always ran 1/4 turn but like Brad said, I started out racing bikes.

I disagree. I would go with the 1/4 turn. 1/2 is just too much to turn on a quad. I have ridden with a 1/4 turn and a 1/2 turn and I am so much faster with the 1/4. Turning with a 1/2 turn is complicated.

I know people that went swithed over to a 1/4 and they didn't like it because when they went through the rough stuff the 1/4 turn was too aggressive. Once they get used to the 1/2, then they should switch to the 1/4.

Just practice going in circles left and right then go slow at first over the rough stuff tillyou feel comfertable.

I love mine. It makes long rides a lot less tiring! It might take some time getting used to but when I put mine on it felt natural, it might be because I am used to riding bikes though:ermm: :macho

I prefer the twist throttle, I had it on a R never had a problem with jumping or anything.
