Why did Honda only make the 250R for 4 years ???

but lawsuits had a big role in the demise of the R,,,,,,,,,and most likely why Honda isnt stepping up to the plate yet:(

Is that the same reason why the lt250 and zilla' were discontinued? Lawsuits ?

Also, does anyone know why Yamaha kept making the banshee instead of stopping like suzuki and honda did ? Did Yamaha not have as many lawsuits ?

Yeah thats messed up because i think more people would get hurt on a banshee then a 250r:confused:

R came out first, and most of the guys ridin 3wheelers hopped on R's, by the time the Shee came out, the R's days were already numbered

Honda took the most of the lawsuits because they were the biggest name at the time. I don't think suzuki or yamaha knew what was hitting honda. From what I understand, Honda signed an agreement in 89 to not produce a high performance bike for ten years.
