I need to know the difference between getting a slip on or a full exhaust system. Do i need to have the quad rejetted for both or just the full exhaust ???

both need rejetted...get the full system, its worth it in the long run.

LRD and Sparks are the two systems I was looking at. I went with the LRD full system. Kinda pricey though, I got mine for $434.99.

what kinda power gains are you going to get from an exhaust ?

"It really depends on the level of build on the bike. LRD builds exhaust systems more for the modified bikes. The more you build a machine, the better the pipe works. On a stock bike the pipe will produce 4 rear wheel horse power over the stock exhaust, on a hi-flow 440 kit our exhaust will produce 7 rear wheel horse power over the stock pipe."

If you have a stock bike even 4-5 ponies is alot considering a 400ex has 26 horsepower.
