Is there any way to make a 250x electric start?

i really dont know a lot about them but i would think it might be possible to rig up a 300ex starter and ignition because the machines are so simalar:confused:

You should be able to put a 300EX electric starter on it, whenever you can put a 250x kick starter on it. So yeah you can. Just go get a starter motor and hook it up and you also have to find somewhere to put the battery and wir everything up. Before you put the battery in check to see if the electric starter works first. Let us know how it goes.

why do you want to put electric start on it? i think it would be nice not to have that extra weight.

they make a kit for i know the 350x and alot of older 3-wheelers..they might make one for the 250x..look around for it
