can anybody help me identify a cam shaft?

I don't know what cam I have, its a long story, but I believe its a Hot Cam, not sure. How can I tell? Measure it ? PLEASE HELP

how long have you had it? the older hotcams had a stock flange pressed onto it.You can maybe see where it was pressed on.

I have had it for 3 months. I know what you are saying, but I don't care if its an old or new, what I care about is what grind it is. Thanks though

i just thought that would help you identify if its a hotcam or not.my new hotcam II has hotcam marked on the flange and has ghr8 i think ingraved on it too

If it is a Hot Cam it will have a pear shaped mark with dots under it, by the center jurnal. And also it will have a date code with a number 7, or 8 on the opposite end of the gear.
