the gasket is for sure just a headgasket and I checked the thickness and it is about 10thousands thinner,I think it should help a bit, just got the bike apart tonight , so I should have it going for the weekend. still only running a stock piston, but I think every little bit helps. this winter will go to a 440 ,by the way I found this guy up in canada (yes Iam CANADIAN) who has a machine shop and is suppose to be excellent with these bikes at canadian prices (looks to me to be quite a bit cheaper)so if anyone out there wants more information about this guy let me know. also on the subject of porting. from what I can gather is that the intake is a waste of time and just match the exhaust ports to the head pipe and you are done
